Luggage
Please ensure your luggage is within our size and weight limits. Each passenger is allowed one 'large' suitcase measuring no more than 75cm x 50cm x 32cm with a weight limit of 23kg or two 'medium' suitcases, each measuring no more than 70cm x 45cm x 30cm with a combined weight limit of 23kg.
Please mark your luggage with your name and destination. We cannot provide receipts for transported luggage.
You can also bring a small 'soft' hand luggage on board measuring 45cm x 35cm x 20cm that can be placed either on your lap, in the overhead space, or under the seat in front of you. If you arrive with more luggage than specified, we may refuse to transport it.
Remember, each ticket allows for one luggage limit. Additional luggage may result in a fee of £10 per piece on the day of travel, although this may vary depending on route and time of travel. Immediate excess luggage is only available in select cities (London, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol, Birmingham, Glasgow and Edinburgh) and is subject to availability.
To avoid any risk to health, safety, property or the environment, please avoid carrying the below items:

- Frozen food, raw meat products and smelly perishables
- Animals (except for guide dogs, hearing dogs or helping dogs)

If in any doubt, please contact our Customer Services team before you travel.
Yes, additional luggage space can be secured at booking (maximum 2), charged at £5.00 per item. Each piece of additional luggage should still meet our luggage policy measurements.
For travel within Scotland, bicycle space can be secured at booking as long as it fits our luggage requirements. Unfortunately bicycles cannot be carried for cross country journeys or journeys within England and Wales.
Folding or small children's bicycles can be carried on our coaches providing they meet our luggage requirements at the owner's risk and will count towards your luggage allowance. They must be securely stowed in a bag or box in the designated luggage area (the hold).
Yes, you can bring a buggy, pushchair or stroller with you. It must be folded up and put in the hold whilst you're travelling. These can be carried in addition to your luggage allowance.
A golf bag of clubs can take up a lot of space! As such a golf bag will fill your entitlement of luggage space.
Remember that the luggage limit is per ticket, so an additional luggage ticket at booking would increase your entitlement, otherwise you may be charged £10 per piece of excess luggage. This fee may vary depending on the route and time of travel. Also excess luggage on the day of travel is only offered at staffed stops in London Victoria Coach Station, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol, Birmingham, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Excess luggage is subject to availability and is not guaranteed, so best to purchase an additional ticket to avoid disappointment at time of travel.
You can bring your skis/snowboards, as long as they’re in suitable protective packaging. Due to the size and bulk of skis/snowboards they will count as your full luggage allowance. We don’t have any special racks for carrying skis/snowboards, so they’ll be carried in the hold of the coach. You can secure an additional luggage ticket at booking.
